Lydia Theisen, LPC

I graduated with a Master’s and Educational Specialist’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Harding University in 2019. Since graduating, I have primarily worked in the outpatient setting with children, teens, and young adults who present with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, behavioral issues, difficulties at school, parenting difficulties, sibling conflict, and more.

While there is no one-size-fits-all treatment for everyone, I strive to use evidence-based treatment models to guide my practice. I am trained in TF-CBT and CPT models for trauma, and I also use CBT and DBT for anxiety, depression, and other difficulties. I enjoy incorporating faith and spiritual beliefs into our counseling sessions together if this is something that you are interested in.
