Play is the language of children. Through Play Therapy, our skilled and highly trained clinicians learn the unique language of each child and interpret it. Through play, children speak from their own language instead of being expected to process like an adult. The level of development, symptoms, and reasons for coming into therapy are assessed. The therapist will use Play Therapy techniques to work through difficult situations, experiences, emotions, behaviors, trauma, and other symptoms on the level to which each child’s brain can process and respond. In the therapeutic playroom, there is an extensive number of toys used for the many expressive ways children play and process their world. To learn more click here.
